Named after our dad—known to the grandkids as “Pop Pop” thanks to his signature popping sound—this business is our way of blending cherished family traditions with bold new beginnings.
After making a leap of faith and moving from Minnesota to Chattanooga, we set out to build a life full of purpose, flavor, and heart. While we miss our loved ones up north, Pop Pop Kettle Corn is our way of bringing a piece of “home” with us—sharing it with our new community, one sweet and salty bite at a time.

Founders Avery and Claire started this venture with a big dream: to build a life and a business in Chattanooga that could provide for their growing family, while giving back to the city that’s quickly captured their hearts. With entrepreneurial roots running deep on both sides of their families, starting something of their own just felt right—like honoring the past while stepping boldly into the future.
What started as a family tradition in Minnesota has now grown into a business built on love, community, and connection. Through Pop Pop Kettle Corn, Avery and Claire are not only sharing a piece of “home” with every bag—they’re also committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
